About Kim

Life Through Art

Artist/Mom/Vet Wife when I'm not Paddle Boarding. I grew up in Rhode Island, now live in Hawaii surrounded by ocean beauty and it's incredible animals my whole life between the two places. In my "before kids life", have a degree in Graphic Design immediately followed by teaching High School Graphic Design. Since moving back to Hawaii with kids in 2010, we have planted retirement roots. I've been working with Mai Tais and Monet since 2013, and loved volunteering Art Lessons in my kids classes and Fisher House. Now, I'm finally focusing on my own art! 2020 has provided me with some extra time to get my ideas and visions to you... Canvas, Digital, Watercolor, mixed media and a children's picture book. I hope my work brings you joy and appreciation of my art.

I'm drawn to graceful things, colorful things, whimsy, curious of all media.... When I work on a piece, it's an extension of me, like writing a song and then signing it. Idea to creation is so much apart of my daily life. Some people create art to live and I live to create art. If I don't do something creative weekly I'm out of sorts. The need to create and get my idea, emotions and visions out is a necessity. Feel free to send me a message at the envelope in the menu. I'd love to hear from you.

Follow me on my journey of creation and growth.
